Gavin Brooks - is not only involved in motorsport and web management but is also an international photographer who has won a few competitions and awards for his best of photography digital nature images - Visual, Ultra Violet and Infrared Red Images. Gavin also has a great passion for interesting cars including Maserati (especially the boomerang brake light 3200s), Rotary Engines (classic award winning look RX7) and Mercedes (the R170 model SLK).Born in Swansea UK, raised in Hong Kong - since receiving his first camera on his 16th birthday a Pentax K1000 SLR Gavin has for over 28 years with passion used many tyoes of Analogue and Digital cameras from small compacts, SLRs, DSLRs, Medium and Large formats (5x4, 10x8) including Hasselblad, Mamiya and Bronica. Lately his preferred photo gear are the flagship top quality performing digital SLRs made by Canon, Nikon and Fujifilm.
Gavins current camera bodies are Canon EOS 1D mkIV, Nikon D90 and Fujifilm IS-Pro
plus numerous lenses from modified El-Nikkors, Nikon Nikkors, Voigtlander, Sigma EXs and Canon L lenses. He also has a specialist UV lens which was custom made in Germany for Ultra Violet use as well as owning 2 sought after ultra rare El-Nikkor 63mm F3.5mm lenses!
